Áras Éanna Arts Centre, Inis Oírr and the Galway City Council Arts Office are delighted to announce the Pat Coleman Emerging Writer in Residence project that honours Pat, a great character and friend to the people of Galway.

The residency will be for three weeks in May 2025. The successful applicant will receive the following:

• Return bus and ferry from Galway City to Inis Oírr

• Self-catering accommodation for the duration of residency

• €2,000 Stipend

• Dedicated studio space at Áras Éanna Arts Centre

• Mentoring workshops

To apply, artists will:

• be available to take up the full residency in May 2025

• be a resident of Galway City
