CALL FOR RESIDENCY – LÁNÚ 2026
Áras Éanna, in partnership with Ealaín na Gaeltachta through the Lánú programme, funded by Galway Culture Company, is delighted to announce an international collaborative three-week residency for a Gaeltacht-based artist and an international artist. The residency will take place in 2026 on the beautiful island of Inis Oírr.
This residency will run between the 13th April and 1st of May 2026 and is open to artists working in any discipline.
Included in the residency:
- Return ferry ticket from Ros an Mhíl (Co. Galway)
- A stipend of €1,000 for each artist, plus a travel allowance of €200 for the international artist
- Accommodation on Inis Oírr for the duration of the residency for the selected artists
- Studio space at Áras Éanna Arts Centre during the residency
To apply for the residency, complete the application form attached to this notice and send it, along with two artistic CVs and five work samples, to lanu@aras-eanna.ie.
As this is a collaborative residency, applicants are asked to explain on the form how they would be suited to participating in this residency. The closing date for applications is 19 December 2025. Successful applicants will be notified before Friday, 16 January 2026.
