Máirtín O Connor Trio

One of the best-loved musicians ever to emerge from the West of Ireland, Máirtín O Connor, is set to join us for a special outdoor show on the GAA pitch on Inis Oirr on Saturday, June 11 (8pm).
As a soloist with the first Riverdance orchestra, Mairtin has performed with De Dannan, Midnight Well and Skylark during a glittering career and is considered one of the finest accordion players in Ireland.
Mairtin will be joined by long-term collaborators Cathal Hayden (fiddle, banjo) and Seamie O’Dowd (guitars, vocals) for what promises to be one of the musical highlights of the summer on the Aran Islands.
Support will come from some of the wonderful musicians who live here on Inis Oirr.
The concert will be moved indoors to the theatre at Aras Eanna in the event of poor weather.
