Áras Éanna is delighted to begin our summer programme in the amharclann welcoming a musician who will be familiar to anyone in the folk and traditional scene in the West of Ireland, Ger O Donnell.

Ger is one of Ireland’s finest folk singers and multi-instrumentalists. He has exploded on to the folk scene in recent years with several number one hits at home, social media virality and many international tours. He is a renowned guitarist, double bassist and player of many other weird and wonderful instruments.

He is the current singer with the Kilfenora Ceili Band, and MD for Dolores Keane, as well as recording engineer/musician for many artists like Sharon Shannon, Sean Keane & Moncrieff.

We look forward to welcoming familiar faces and new visitors to the centre on the night, to celebrate the start of an exciting season ahead.
