Since they were founded in Scoil Chuimsitheach Chiaráin in 2022, Galway’s Na hEasógaí have been creating totally original music between sound, lyrics and image. Na hEasógaí fuse styles such as rock, Irish traditional and world music with their native and first language: Irish/Gaelic. Instruments such as the piobaí uillin and the electric guitar are used to achieve this unique sound. Colm Seoighe, a writer and singer from Ros an Mhíl, is at the helm of the band while Fionn ó Cualáin, Daragh Jennings, and Muiris ó Clochartaigh (along with other collaborators) make up na hEasógaí. Fresh off their tour with Damien Dempsey, they have been featured on the RTÉ programme “An Ghig Mhór”.
