Big Maggie

This is the story of Big Maggie Polpin and her efforts to keep her children together after the death of her husband, a longtime favourite story of theatregoers. It is a play full of humour and scolding as this strong woman wants her children to do well in the life ahead of them. Her children and those around her are looking after her land and everything that goes with it, but Maggie has other ideas! The play is set in a rural area in Ireland in the 1960s.
