Born in Galway, Des Dillon is a textile artist and puppeteer who now lives in the foothills of the Knockmealdown mountains in Co. Tipperary. He makes all of his own puppets and they are inspired by the nature around him. Des has spent a week at Inis Oírr’s national school over the past couple of years, creating magical and wonderful puppet shows with the school children. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic Des could not make it this year and he dedicates this online show to the children of Inis Oírr.
