Áras Éanna, Inis Oirr are delighted to welcome ‘Dúchas agus Dóchas A Clare Songline’ on Inis Oirr as part of their national tour. Inish oirr and County Clare are lined over many years, geographically, historically and musically, not to mention the blood ties as well: many islanders are married into County Clare. Diarmuid de Faoite presents: Edel Vaughan, Nuala Kennedy, Philip Fogarty, Emer O’Flaherty, Therese McInerney with special guests, Mac Dara Ó Conaola (Inis Oírr) agus Gráinne Cotter.
Diarmuid de Faoite and his musical friends will take us on a wonderful journey through 350 years of indigenous Clare Irish songs. Songs and related stories will be heard from all over the County. Language is life and songs live in their singing. Let’s sing & play
