As part of FRESH STREET#3 day, 250 International delegates will visit Inis Oírr for the day for a series of site specific events held throughout the Island. These include an art work at O’Brien’s Castle by Deana Kolenčíková (Czech Republic/Slovakia), who will be here for two days gathering maps from memory, with the wider public for the installation.
Áras Éanna artists in residence contemporary juggling duo Kate Boschetti and Liam Wilson (Italy/Scotland) will present a work in progress inspired by the Island in a location near Tobar Éanna. (3-4pm)
The final piece (6-7pm) beside Tigh Ned’s is by Galway based company Turas Theatre Collective with their show ‘Remnants’. A deeply moving piece about migration and journeys.
We hope you will join them on their journey around the wonderful Inis Oírr.
